Welcome to On The Track Lodge. We are situated on the shores of Nydia Bay, a quiet corner of the Marlborough Sounds. We have access only by boat or walking the Nydia Track. Behind the lodge is an impressive peak which provides a wonderful backdrop to this historical Bay - Pelorus Sound, Marlborough, South Island NZ.

The Nydia track is a wonderful 2 day hike on a track maintained by the Department of Conservation. The Nydia Track is open for walking and mountain biking.

Get away from the busy Queen Charlotte Track and explore the remote Nydia Track and Pelorus Sound.

On The Track lodge is situated half-way on the beautiful Nydia Track. It is a peaceful place to stay and rest for a few days. Arrive by boat or walk / mountain bike the remote Nydia Track.
No need to carry that heavy pack. Walk or mountain bike the Nydia track with a day pack and we will look after you! We can provide everything you need from meals and drinks to comfortable beds supplied with linen/towels. We even have a small shop for essential supplies. We are open all year round.

Once here, there are various options for you to try. Hire a Kayak, for a sunset paddle or a whole day adventure, walk another track to explore the history of the bay; swim; fish off the jetty; soak in the hot tub or relax on our verandas whilst you rest your feet. We have a self catering fully equipped kitchen and we offer an evening meal, breakfast and a packed lunch.
